Why my Classes are Unique
I use the principles of:
Yin and Restorative Yoga to ensure deep, and effective relaxation (often supported by blocks, cushions and bolsters)
Kundalini warm up sets and soft flow (to awaken the body, warm the joints and enable circulation of Prana)
Hatha, Jivamukti, Power and Dynamic for creative standing sequences.
I've combined the potent aspects of each style that has resonated with me over the past nine years to create a personal style, that's balanced and individual, in keeping with traditional Hatha Yoga methods , using a core Vinyasa Flow framework throughout.
I utilise the ancient Buddhist practice of Mindfulness in classes - a simple, scientifically proven method to remain aware and present by use of the breath. During this state we're able to observe both the inner workings of the mind and habitual thought patterns.
I tap into the energy field of the time by setting a spiritually relevant intention
