Snezhana, Organiser of the British Standard Institute's weekly Corporate Yoga
I helped organise a weekly yoga class for colleagues over a year ago. Since then, we have had a number of teachers and Samantha is right up with there with the best of them. She is attentive and engages the whole class, always trying to accommodate the varying levels of students and abilities.
It can be difficult to fit exercise around my work day and the yoga class definitely does a great job at helping me work on my core strength, tone, stretch and relax – all in 45 minutes!
One of the best things about Samantha’s teaching is its variety - no two weeks are the same. She manages to vary the class and focus on different aspects every week, ensuring it's exciting and challenging.. I always come out of the class feeling relaxed but at the same time reenergised and ready to make the best of out the rest of the day.
The class helps reduce my stress levels and gives me a chance to distance myself from whatever issues I am facing at work and come back to them later when I’m feeling calmer, more balanced and better equipped to deal with them effectively.
Samantha’s class also helps relieve tension in my shoulders and back caused by spending long periods of time at my desk.
It has been the only Yoga class in which feedback from colleagues has been all round very positive. My colleagues have enjoyed the flow of the class and the variety it offers. I would definitely recommend.
