I am passionate about food and one of the main reasons I chose this venue:
Meals at Poulstone have been described as "abundant", "plentiful" and "wholesome". Sales of their cookbook are testimony to this.
Meals are supplemented by vegetables and herbs grown on premises and organic, locally sourced food is used where possible.
A selection of teas, coffees and biscuits are available any time in the tea bar.
Breakfast is self service, lunch is a selection of savoury dishes, soups and salads followed by a cheeseboard and fruit, supper is a two course meal again followed by a cheeseboard and fruit.
Special diets are catered for at no extra cost.
Meals are served in the communal dining room and are very much part of the experience of the weekend.

Poulstone Court – enter a magical 400 year old country home situated in Hereford.
Very close to Malvern - well known for its’ clean Spring water, Victorians would flock to sample the “healing” properties of the water and to the Abbey – long standing place of healing. Poulstone is situated by the River Wye which flows by the house and is surrounded by panoramic, endless views the countryside.
Poulstone is surrounded by three 800 - 900 year old churches (which can be viewed on a walk) forming a triangle in which Poulstone sits. Its this triangular formation, coupled with the moving energy of the River Wye closeby that makes Poulstone a powerful place of significance.
Spiritual practices such as Yoga, meditation and Qi Gong have been practised at the location for over 25 years.
The towering 500 year old tree that protectively looms over Poulston
Pouleston Court in Spring
There are a choice of two workspaces at Poulston:
1. The first has a very strong energy, light streams in from the floor to ceiling windows and there is a powerful sense of peace. You will be surrounded by the picturesque views that Poulston Court offers in practice. Having visited this is no doubt my favourite, purely going on the energy of the room, not aesthetics. Can accommodate up to 25.
2. The second is within the oldest part of the house and is the larger of the two. Just a couple of minutes walk away from the main house, this is a beautiful, light, oak-beamed space with a peaceful and spacious feel. It is called the meditation room and thus has a sense of serenity and quiet about. There are exposed beams giving the room character and reminding us as to the grand history and antiquity the house offers. Can accommodate up to 35.
* Bringing our own mat is essential however use the property's of blocks, straps, various meditation cushions and seats are at no extra charge.
The rooms are Victorian in style - high ceilings, large, spacious and airy with individual pieces of furniture and with large floor to ceiling / sash windows.
Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable with Egyptian cotton sheets. Each room has heaters which are controlled by you and in the wardrobes will be an extra supply of blankets should you need
